Christos Katsaitis aka DJ Christos is one of South Africa’s longest-spinning DJs and as one of the Godfathers of House Music in the country, he is very influential and inspirational to South Africa Music scene.
He started practicing with turntables from the age of 13 and his love for deejaying came from his father’s love for jazz music. He finally got a job at one of the biggest nightclubs in Pretoria, The Jacqueline Night Club as a resident Deejay where his major challenge was how to keep people dancing for eight full hours, thus he had to learn other styles and created different mixes to ensure the club environment did not get boring.
Now, that we have a brief history lesson on the legendary Christos, are you ready to celebrate and party with the Godfather of House Music at his legendary birthday experience that will be hosted at Mea Culpa on the 18th March 2023.
