Anthony Kasirivu AKA Luka, is a producer from Africa on a mission. Part of the country’s growing number of underground-inclined producers, he puts his hand to records that are draped in dexterous hues with lavish, lucious and always deep minded vibes. Indeed, so deep are his productions, that he even named his recently formed label that’s part of the Fomp collective, We Go Deep, in homage to his musical preferences. A number of renowned taste-makers are steadily getting behind his music.

Sióbhan, Sió, The Twilight child, King is a storyteller, who uses music and poetry to tell her stories. A lover of words and melodies, the Johannesburg based songstress often gravitates towards dark imagery, weaving love, thoughtfulness and dash of rebellion in her work.

The FKA Mash mixes allow us to explore the Afro Tech sounds of this record and appreciate the bouncy basslines that compliment the celestial sounds of Sio.

Fka Mash, a DJ/Producer/Electronic Music Artist from Soweto, started making music at the age of 12. In 2011 he had his first release under Baainar Records. The releases continued moving on to the most reputable deep house music label in South Africa, Stay True Sounds, a track out on Get Physical and a recent remix for Jimpster’s imprint Freerange Records and the well received EP on Atjazz Record Label.
