The DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival is now in its 6th year, and the festival continues to grow stronger and stronger each year. The festival is one of the most anticipated events of the year in South Africa due to the world-class experience offered to patrons.
The world-class experience is created through a scintillating lineup of music icons and legends; an abundance of heavenly-sent food cooked by world-class chefs and food connoisseurs; an incredible venue that is spacious and welcoming, and an electric atmosphere created by the beautiful people attending the event.
The festival was launched in October 2013 and it was headlined by the legendary Jamiroquai and top UK celebrity chefs. In 2014 and 2015, the festival was lit with legendary artists such as Incognito, Brand New Heavies, Soul II Soul, Drizabone, Shakatak, Chaka Khan and Louie Vega. In 2016, the DSTV Delicious organisers recognised the need to hold the festival over 2 days, which resulted in an extended artist line up.
2016 saw the legendary Hip Hop groups Arrested Development and De La Soul perform on Saturday; the legendary House Music ensemble Elements of Life perform on Saturday and Sunday, the iconic The Jackson perform on Sunday and the legendary Macy Gray perform on the Saturday, and the King of Jazz Music in South Africa, the late and great Hugh Masekela perform on the Sunday. In 2017, the festival was headlined one of the greatest Hip Hop MCs, Common. The festival was also headlined by Black Coffee, Alexander ONeal, Femi Kuti, Omar and Imagination
The 2018 DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival will be hosted at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in Midrand on 22 and 23 September 2018.
