Muse transcends us upon a musical journey that leads us to experience joy and Utopia through the sublime House Music sounds. Jazzuelle’s amalgamation of superb studio engineering and incredible instrumentation from invited music sessionists, results in an album that deserves true support and appreciation from Deep House Heads and Music Lovers.

Opening with a lamenting saxophone melody that underpins Michael Caine’s reading of Rudyard Kipling’s poem “If”, Jazzuelle (Thando Tshoma) issues a house-rooted clarion call. Honouring all those who paved the way for him, the Capetonian deep house maven pays it forward by collaborating with a host of South African up-and-comers, like Knysna’s Tee Maestro (“Nova”), Hammanskraal’s Jas Artchild (“Poetic Justic”) and King William’s Town’s Hypaphonik (“Raging Darkness”). Flirting with Afro-house, tech house and various shades of jazzy electronic moods, with this release, Jazzuelle cements his status as a master craftsman when it comes to shaping the groove
