Two creative minds. Nine compositions. One musical journey that celebrates the enduring spirit of Deep House.
There is something profoundly beautiful about House Music when it moves beyond entertainment and becomes an expression of identity, culture and artistic freedom. With Beyond Alies, ZuluMafia and Coco Moloi bring their creative worlds together in a project that invites listeners to appreciate House Music as more than a collection of rhythms.
The beauty of Deep House has always rested in its ability to communicate emotions that words cannot adequately describe. It is a musical language shaped by patience, imagination and an appreciation for the spaces between sounds. Beyond Alies offers an opportunity to reflect on that philosophy.
ZuluMafia has continued to build a catalogue that contributes to South Africa’s House Music landscape, with projects including Wothi Zulu, Mark 6.4 and HouseAlive. His collaboration with Coco Moloi provides another avenue for artistic exploration.
The significance of such collaborations extends beyond the artists themselves. They represent the creative relationships that have helped sustain Deep House culture, where producers exchange ideas, challenge musical conventions and contribute to a collective identity.
