HouseAlive is a love letter to South African Deep House culture, crafted by two producers who understand that the genre thrives on emotion as much as it does rhythm. Soulfreakah and ZuluMafia deliver a nine-track journey that effortlessly bridges Soulful House, Deep House and subtle Amapiano influences without sacrificing the authenticity of either sound. The EP was born from House Alive Explosion event, improvised studio sessions and personal experiences thus giving it an organic, story-driven quality.

From the opening moments, the project establishes a warm, atmospheric mood. Tracks like “Find Another Way” featuring Zingelwayo and “Hey Love” showcase rich chord progressions, heartfelt vocal performances and polished percussion. Elsewhere, “African Forest” and “Deep In Africa” embrace earthy textures and hypnotic grooves that pay homage to the roots of African house music while remaining dancefloor-ready.

The production is immaculate throughout. Every bassline feels purposeful, every pad adds emotional depth, and the transitions are smooth enough to satisfy discerning house music purists. While the Extended Player (EP) occasionally stays within familiar Deep House territory, its consistency and sincerity become its greatest strengths.
