Siyabonga Skhondo, professionally known as C-Blak, hails from Balfour, a small township in Mpumalanga. Renowned for his exceptional music production and captivating vocals, he gained prominence with hit songs like “Asambe” and “Ulele,” featuring some of South Africa’s top artists. He also released “From Blak With Love,” an album that embodies the new energy of Be Blak and showcases both well-known and emerging artists.

C-Blak began his musical journey in 2007 and has since collaborated with leading South African House music artists. Recently, he launched his own record label, Be Blak Records, with the aim of revolutionizing the dance music scene with a fresh wave of house music infused with township kasi flavor.

His recent album release, TUMELO, is a heartfelt tribute to his late brother, Tumelo Clement Skhondo. Every melody, string, and instrument reflects the remarkable person he was. The soulful sounds of the saxophone, vibrant trumpets, and rhythmic percussions guide listeners on a journey that honors the sweet and loving spirit that defined him.
