The legendary House Music DJ, producer and record label owner, Nutty Nys, joins 5FM to host the Sunday Seasions on 5, which broadcasts from 18h00 to 21h00. Nutty Nys will be in the driving seat for one of the biggest House Music Radio Shows in South Africa from the 5th February 2023.

Nutty Nys is also a diligent radio host, who started in campus radio and later moved to commercial youth radio, ultimately very successfully heading up the music department.
“I am super excited to join 5FM. The station is a key player in South African urban culture and lifestyle and I’m looking forward to being a part of it.
As one can expect from 5’s vibe, the show will be breaking fresh new music and artists, profiling labels and DJs, and chatting with iconic figures in the music space. It’ll also be connecting with niche music collectives, movements and societies around the country, because they are at the forefront of the edgy music lifestyle.”
Nutty Nys thoughts on joining 5FM and his vision for the Sunday Sessions on 5
5FM recently bid a fond farewell to Allan Nicoll aka Kid Fonique, after more than 6 years on the air. The radio host hung up his headphones after his show on Sunday 11 December to focus on his record label, Stay True Sounds, and his new Head of A&R position at Defected Records.
