Soulful House is defined as warm, feel-good soul vibes mesh with melodic House Music beats that translate to a blissful, happy explosion of sounds, which sends waves of joy throughout your entire existence – mind, body, and spirit.

Forever Soulful EP features sublime collaborations with world-class vocalists such as MoreSoul, Rhey Osborne, Nutownsoul and Komplexity

Melvin Kruger aka DJ Laschem hails from the sunny Province of North West in a town called Potchefstroom. He completed his high school career in Potch and moved to Pretoria to begin his University Studies. The passion and love for Soulful House goes as far back as the year 1998, hence:

“my move to Pretoria was exactly for that reason…House Music”

He followed his passion for Soulful House working with various underground DJs and Vocalist from all works of South Africa. 

DJ Laschem has traveled the world chasing his passion and love for music, in 2014 he attended the Miami Music Conference and played at several gigs in Ocean Drive, Miami, Florida.

DJ Laschem presents us with a beautiful Soulful House EP entitled Forever Soulful. The incredible declaration for Soulful House sounds shows that this genre of House Music deserves more support and appreciation.
