The soul-piercing sounds of 4/4 beat come alive again as we listen and groove to the Resuscitation of House produced by the superb duo of Soulfreakah & Brett SA. They both hail from the East of Johannesburg, Spruitview, and share a love and passion for jazzy deep soulful sounds that elevates the soul to a musical high. 

The feet-tapping and head-bobbing sounds created on this superb EP introduce us to the creativity and musical vision that we can expect from Same Sun Records, a new record label to be Deep House and Soulful House scene. We got a taste of the music that will be released by the label with Soulfreakah’s Years Gone By, which dropped in December 2020.
