Hosted by Soul Candi Live, Metro FM & SABC 1 – the 9th edition of Dance Cultures National Holiday will bring the City of Ekurhuleni to a standstill, ushering in the festive wave like never before as THE HUNTER’S SPRING FIESTA will take place at our resident oasis and annual party playground, Wild Waters in Boksburg on Saturday, 5 October 2019.
Just as butterflies transform out of their cocoons – we are evolving, the spirit of our festival is becoming, we are 9 years on – yet this is only the beginning… Come be part of the evolution as we welcome on board our new main partner and refreshing sponsor, Hunter’s. As we spread our wings further and reach for new frontiers we will now be known as THE HUNTER’S SPRING FIESTA.
Alongside the crème-of-local-hit makers as headliners, we welcome International Headliners OSUNLADE and KARIZMA playing an exclusive B2B DJ set. We are aware that OSUNLADE may be viewed as a controversial choice, however the festival is focused on music and not politics – we believe music must win at the end of the day. Our other international guest headliner MONIQUE BINGHAM needs no introduction, she is the ever so soulful – US based vocalist – we all love to sing along to. We are pleased to welcome on-board French producer and DJ FRANCK ROGER and deep house maestro LARS BEHRENROTH.
Our Hip Hop stage is also getting a change up and will now be hosted by PH. Witness SA Hip Hop’s most wanted rappers and DJs take to the stage to turn up the heat and drop serious bars and beats.
What began as an ambitious dream by Soul Candi Live, rapidly became an inspired movement of music lovers, known for bringing together thousands of like-minded people in celebration of dance music and popular culture. Over the years our movement has morphed into a force to be reckoned with, setting the tone and trends for the festive season and beyond. As we continue to evolve, our daily endeavour to bring our patrons sought-after live music experiences and breath-taking festival moments remains unchanged; so for the first time ever, we will be hosting an After Party at Nicci Beach (Inside Wild Waters). That’s right guys, things will kick off at 22.00pm ‘till…. VVIP & VIP gain free access, everyone else R150.
