Nominations for 3rd annual Dance Music Awards are open

The Dance Music Awards South Africa (DMASA) is an online, public-voting award platform that acknowledges and honours the accomplishments and contributions of South African dance music artists and industry people who are pushing boundaries and driving South Africa’s thriving dance music industry forward.

These annual awards is an exciting opportunity for the South African public to voice their opinion on who they feel is creating amazing music, pushing boundaries and making waves in the industry.
The award includes twenty categories that range from celebrating the Best Female DJ to the Best Night Club of the year.

This year, the Dance Music Awards SA plans to be even bigger with an exciting additional category. Nominations officially opened on Monday, all you have to do is:
1.Go onto their website:
2. Sign up
3. List your top 5 per category
4. Nominate your favourite from list per category
5. Submit your nomination
And your voice will be heard.

The winner selection will be held online, the competition will be driven by social media and online interaction, meaning no “panel” will dictate the nominees.
The actual awards “ceremony” will also be conducted online, where the winner will be announced in each category.
