Louie Vega just dropped a massive bombshell on Facebook about what BET plans to do to pay tribute to House Music at the 2017 BET Awards.

The legendary Louie Vega posted the following on Facebook:

What an honor to be asked by the BET AWARDS to musical direct and dj for a tribute to HOUSE MUSIC!!! Unfortunately I am contracted to do a gig at the same time that was booked way back. THANK YOU TO THE BET AWARDS AND A BIG THANK YOU TO DJ PREMIER FOR THINKING OF ME!!!! GET READY FOR A TRIBUTE TO HOUSE MUSIC ON THE BET AWARDS!!! SO HAPPY OUR MUSIC IS GETTING SOME PLAY OUT THERE AND WHAT A PERFECT TIME FOR IT!!! TO ALL MY PEERS OUT THERE WHO RECORD MUSIC, NOW IS THE TIME, GET YOUR BEST ON IN THE STUDIO AND COME UP WITH THE GOODS, THINGS ARE HAPPENING WITH HOUSE MUSIC IN A BIG WAY, TRUST I SAY!!!
