Black Coffee is a South African legend and King of House music. The super-skilled DJ and produced major in Jazz Studies at Durban University of Technology.

Black Coffee made his breakthrough on the SA music scene with schoolmates Shota and Demor. The talented trio formed the group, SHANA, in 1997 and the legendary Afro Pop group released four albums under Meltz 2000 record label. In 2003, The King of House Music got his big break when he was selected to participate in the Red Bull Music Academy, which accelerated his growth as a solo artist.

Fast forward to the present, Black Coffee has released 5 studio albums (Pieces of Me and Africa Rising went platinum); had a 6 months global DJ tour in 2015 which grow his fan base in America and Europe; and won 4 South African Music Awards, 2 Metro FM awards, and won Breakthrough Arrist of the Year at the DJ Awards.
